I would also like to point out, that saying WTB / WTS before anything else, and in All chat will automatically translate it to Trade chat.

Most people agree that the report system is full of fail. Example: Look at how it "deals" with leechers in places like Fort Aspenwood. There's someone there that has been leeching over the past two years. I personally have submitted reports via the website and the in-game report system and nothing is done.
Spamming in local chat is probably a considerably minor offense. Unless you excessively spam, there's probably no chance you'll get banned. Then again I've seen evidence to the contrary. I remember seeing this guy spam Lion's Arch american dis 1 all during the Wintersday with sales trade. I reported him every day I saw him there. I understand it was the holidays and Anet may have been a bit slack, but that same guy was still there spamming even after the event was over. When it comes to the big picture, spam is not a big deal. I'd rather see Anet presumably deal with flamers instead. |
